    The Saunderstown office is conveniently located in South County, Rhode Island at the corner of Route 138 and Route 1 in a quiet shopping plaza with ample parking. The clinic contains three private treatment rooms as well as a robust fitness area / gym. The Saunderstown therapists specialize in manual, orthopedic, sports and spine therapy, women’s and men’s health, pre and post partum, and dry needling. This location fosters a comfortable and trusted environment of care.

    Our Team

    Timothy Haitz
    Tim Haitz, DPT, Site Coordinator

    Qualifications: Timothy is working towards pursing his active release techniques (ART) certification. Timothy is also a level 1 CrossFit trainer and a semiprofessional mountain bike and cyclocross racer in his spare time.


    Clinical Expertise: Specializes in orthopedic, sports and spine physical therapy and has received specialized training in various manual therapy techniques and is continuing to enhance his hands-on therapy by taking various continuing education classes.

    Background/education: Timothy graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island and went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with an orthopedic concentration from U.R.I.

    Michelle Clark
    Michelle Clark, MSPT

    Qualifications: Master of Science in PT from URI 1994, certified in dry needling for lower body and pelvic floor muscles, extensive continuing education in pelvic floor PT: Levels 1-3 Herman and Wallace Institute for pelvic floor dysfunction, prenatal and post-partum PT, advanced bowel dysfunction, visceral mobilization for urogenital dysfunction, post prostatectomy/urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence

    Clinical Expertise: all of above, pelvic pain/pudendal neuralgia, constipation, fibromyalgia, certified in Massage Therapy from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy

    Professional Accomplishments and Involvements: member for past 4 years in SIG (special interest group) in R.I. for pelvic floor dysfunction/PT for both the female and male population

    Other passions: family (3 daughters 17, 15 and 12 years old), running, yoga

    Tracey Foster

    Qualifications: Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Ace-certified personal trainer, Ace Fitness Nutrition Specialist,

    Clinical Expertise: Manual Therapy, Graston certified, Injury Prevention/Rehabilitation in Runners, Sports Rehabilitation, Neck pain

    Background/Education: Doctorate of Physical therapy from University of Rhode Island, Bachelor of Science from University of Rhode Island- Kinesiology.

    Professional Accomplishments and Involvements: Competitive runner ranking in the top 3% of Rhode Island. History of approximately 100 competitive road races ranging from 5k to 10 miles. Competed in 2 fitness competitions.

    Favorite Sports: Running and weight lifting

    Jen Sant
    Jen Sant DPT

    Qualifications: Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified in Lymphedema via APTA’s Comprehensive Management of Edema Foldi Method, APTA’s Women’s Heath Certification CAPP I and CAPP II.

    Clinical Expertise: Manual Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Athletic Injury Prevention, Lymphedema, Women’s Pelvic Heath, and Men’s Pelvic Health

    Background/Education: Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Rhode Island, B.S. in Kinesiology from University of Rhode Island

    Professional Accomplishments and Involvements: Dr. Ruth Jones-Excellence in PT study Award, URI outstanding Alumni Reward, CNE Safe Patient Handling Faculty, Welch Award Nominee-Excellence in Patient Care

    Favorite Sports: I have an appreciation for all sports as I love the nature of sports in that it helps people with goal setting, personal accomplishments, and confidence!

    Personally, I have played baseball/softball for many years and played for URI’s D-I Field Hockey Program, I have also been on USA’s Powerlifting Team honored to represent the US in 5 countries through the IPF (International Powerlifting Federation).

    Other passions:

    Family, nutrition, yoga, traveling, stand up paddle boarding and helping people LIVE WELL.
